MEET JOHN SULLIVAN
Real Expeditions. Real Lessons. Inspiring Well-Rounded Leaders.
What can young people learn from living alongside indigenous communities in remote rainforests, leading expeditions in some of the world’s most challenging environments, and exploring cultures far removed from their own? The answer is far more than adventure.
John Sullivan is a former Royal Marines Commando, explorer, expedition leader, and survival specialist. After earning his Green Beret and serving for nine years in the Royal Marines, John pursued a life of exploration and adventure, travelling extensively through some of the world’s most remote environments. His work includes living alongside indigenous communities in Papua New Guinea and Borneo, supporting factual productions for the BBC and National Geographic Channel, and leading youth conservation projects in Belize and Namibia.
Independent schools are committed to developing well-rounded, confident, and capable young people. Through captivating storytelling, authentic expedition photography, real survival gear, and cultural artefacts, John delivers an immersive learning journey that exposes pupils to extraordinary environments and fosters the values that underpin lifelong success: resilience, curiosity, leadership, courage, adaptability, and global citizenship.
Great achievements begin with curiosity.
